We're all about saving animals in need, and about community service -- improving the quality of life for both animals and people right here in Brooklyn.

Spring is here, and even though we all welcome the warm weather, it also means an early kitten season - the toughest time of year for rescuers. In addition to all the cats Brooklyn Animal Action is already helping, we'll be needing lots more foster homes for all the little ones. Trap, neuter, return programs – TNR – continue to be the best way to reduce the cat population. Our rescuers have been trapping, spaying/neutering, and providing food and warm shelters for their feral cat colonies throughout the winter, and that work continues.

This spring you can be a hero to animals!  Take a moment; make a difference in the life of a stray. With your help, we can continue to rescue and spay/neuter strays and ferals, and find loving homes for Brooklyn's animals in need. We are an all-volunteer team, so your donation today goes directly to helping us rescue cats and administer medical care (including spay/neuter services), and to providing food and a safe place to stay until each cat finds his or her special human companion and guardian.
